3rd Cooking Class at Gracious Hands Women’s Shelter

🍽️ Cooking, Community, and Connection

Our 3rd Cooking Class at Gracious Hands Women’s Shelter was a flavorful celebration of culture, creativity, and community—and it was truly a delicious success!

This session featured a Turkish favorite: Kumpir—a loaded baked potato masterpiece! Toppings included kısır (bulgur salad), corn, sucuk (Turkish sausage), salami, pickles, olives, and Russian salad. 🥔✨ The colorful ingredients brought smiles, laughter, and lots of personal flair to each custom plate.

More Than a Meal: A Moment of Unity

It wasn’t just about cooking—it was about connection. The women participating shared stories, laughter, and ideas while preparing their plates. These cooking classes are more than culinary events—they are intentional moments of joy, dignity, and empowerment.

Every gathering reinforces our belief: food has the power to bring people together, inspire confidence, and nurture the soul.
