During Ramadan 2025, Mosaic of Charlotte proudly partnered with Roof Above to bring the spirit of generosity and care to those who need it most. Together, we delivered over 250 Iftar dinner meals to individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Uptown Charlotte.
With support from Embrace Relief and the dedication of our volunteers, this effort reflected the essence of Ramadan: compassion, dignity, and community connection.
A Shared Meal, A Shared Humanity
For many in our city, access to a hot meal—and the dignity of breaking fast—is not guaranteed. That’s why this initiative was so important. Each Iftar meal delivered represented more than nourishment—it was a moment of being seen, supported, and remembered.
Volunteers prepared, packaged, and delivered warm dinners that brought comfort, especially during the sacred time of fasting.
This outreach reminds us: no one in our community should be forgotten.
