🌙 Sharing Eid’s Spirit Through Action
This Eid al-Adha 2024, Mosaic of Charlotte had the honor of delivering Qurbani donations to Huntersville Hope Women’s Shelter. These offerings weren’t just about food—they represented our commitment to ensuring that the blessings of Eid extend beyond our homes and into the hearts of our neighbors.
During our visit, the shelter’s staff graciously gave us a tour, allowing us to connect with the team and some of the incredible women residing there.
🤲 A Message of Compassion and Faith
We shared the powerful hadith:
“It’s not one of us who sleeps full when his/her neighbor is hungry.”
It served as a meaningful reminder of our collective duty to care for others. Through the Qurbani meal and this message, we reinforced the values of empathy, gratitude, and solidarity that define Eid.
👩🍳 Looking Ahead: Building Deeper Partnerships
In the spirit of continued collaboration, we also explored opportunities for future initiatives—such as organizing a cooking class at the shelter. These shared experiences not only teach culinary skills but also build confidence and community.
We’re excited about the potential to work together in deeper, more empowering ways.
❤️ Thank You for Your Generosity
To everyone who contributed to this delivery—your support made a real impact. Through your Qurbani donations, we’re helping ensure that no one is left out of the celebration and that compassion remains central to our community’s identity.
