A Sacred Tradition, A Shared Table
On Eid 2024, Mosaic of Charlotte, in partnership with Street Corner Ministry (SCM), embraced the spirit of sacrifice and service by distributing Qurbani meals to the homeless and underserved in our city center.
We served over 130 plates of rice with sautéed meat, each one prepared with care and delivered with compassion. The effort turned a holy tradition into a community-wide moment of connection, dignity, and joy.
💬 A Moment That Moved Us All
Among the many heartfelt interactions, one stood out. A mother of a disabled child accepted a to-go meal with tears in her eyes and said:
“We struggled to find food two days ago. Thank you so much. God bless you.”
Her words were a powerful reminder that even the simplest gesture—a warm plate—can carry immense meaning and healing.

This Qurbani effort wasn’t just about distributing food. It was about:
